Der
18. hella hamburg halbmarathon verspricht wieder ein glanzvolles Sportereignis für Hamburg zu werden. Als einer der wenigen "reinen" Halbmarathonläufe Deutschlands führt er als klassischer Citylauf an unzähligen Hamburger Touristenattraktionen vorbei und gilt als schnellster der großen Deutschen Sommer-Halbmarathonläufe.
Startschuss ist um 10:00 Uhr unter Sambatrommeln auf der Reeperbahn. Die Skater gehen bereits um 09:30 Uhr an den Start. Zweimal laufen die Teilnehmer über die Reeperbahn, anschließend führt der Halbmarathon die Läufer und Skater vorbei am Fischmarkt und am Hafen entlang in Richtung HafenCity. Von dort aus geht es weiter zum Hauptbahnhof und dann entlang der Außenalster bis hin zur Maria-Louisen-Straße und schließlich zur Rothenbaumchaussee, welche auch das Ziel ist. Mit Hamburg 1 ist Hamburgs Lokalfernsehen wie immer live dabei - und es wird bei Wurst und Bier mit Livemusik gefeiert.
