Dear Madam, dear Sir,
   

if your child is listed as a local resident in Hamburg it is also required to attend school in Hamburg. In order to avoid disadvantages when your child is visiting a school abroad, you have to proof that it is enrolled and attending classes on a regular base there. 

Therefore it is necessary to present a certificate to that effect. However, certificates are only accepted by the Behörde für Schule und Berufsbildung (BSB) when written completely in or officially translated into German.

Therefore, on this site you can find forms in French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Polish and Turkish. These forms will be accepted by the BSB without German translation. However, they have to be filled out completely, contain an official school seal or stamp, must be signed by the school's principal, and remain otherwise unaltered. 

Click on the flag of your choice in order to fill out and / or print the respective certificate. Then present the printout to the school abroad in order to have it completed, signed, and stamped.
